I received the same email and the same contents stating the job offer for the payment manager role with a salary of $39.40 for full time and $34.40 for part time.
When I checked my email this morning, I realized they sent 4 emails back to back insisting that I respond to their email and to acknowledge their offer.

It took me a good minute to realize that something didn’t seem right. Also, the grammar was a bit off. They mentioned that my resume was selected among other candidates and that their HR is interested in offering me the payment manager position.

If it seems too good to be true it usually is!

Thank goodness I did my research and here we are! Voila!

I have been applying to several jobs lately and unfortunately I am only able to accept positions from home as I have children. I receive an email from Sandra Parr at Smedley Logistics Service LLC this morning. The job position was Payment Manager and required very basic skills, and oddly didn't require any kind of payment experience. I went to the website and it seemed legitimate, but there were some grammatical errors on the homepage. I Googled the address listed and found it to be a very basic office building and Smedley wasn't listed as a tenant of the building. I tried to call the phone number listed, but ended up unable to get through. They are not accredited and there is no information about them readily available if you search. A big red flag was when I played along with the idea and they sent me a "Labour Agreement" they wanted me to sign then they wanted me to send a photo of myself holding the labour agreement. They pay rate for the position is also very high, which initially drew me in, however I previously worked for a HUD housing project and made a considerable amount for the position, but this one being a work from home supposedly pays more than that? Very suspicious. I wrote an email back to them telling them I would be reporting them and posting warnings to social media regarding their scam. I don't understand how they have the audacity to take advantage of people in these situations. It's disgusting.
