Found the website and requested information about Winston a Maltese. Was sent video and photos and sent an official Zelle payment application. Seemed legit, but price was very cheap being $650 for puppy as well as shipping fee. I jumped at the opportunity. Had a funny feeling so did some investigating and found someone wanting the exact same dog “Winston” who’d payed the fee and went to the airport to collect the puppy and discovered it was a scam. Don’t fall for this company! $650 for a Maltese is super cheap…. This is why it was… it’s bait and deception!

Found a Maltese breeder for $650, wanted Winston just like another guy who got scammed. His story matched mine to the exact. I’m soooo glad I found his story before paying. BEWARE!

Inquired about a puppy named Winston was sent an official Zelle slip for payment flyer after sending my address name and phone number. Had a bad feeling and discovered after searching online another person pursuing Winston who’d actually payed and been swindled. Sent the article to the email of smiling puppies with no response.

Read an ad on smilingmaltesepuppies.com. Selected Winston a teacup maltese puppy, filled out contact info that included agreement to pay $650 for puppy/ no added shipping costs. Received email regarding puppy, shots received, food he eats, health record and birth certificate to be sent with the puppy, food and water and feeding instructions, a toy with breeders scent,. Then was texted bank transfer received and shipping to be arranged immediately. Flight intinerary sent by email with notation that on arrival of flight, await call from airlines on pickup arrangements. drove to MCI/KCI - Flight 68. arrived on time, no call from airlines. checked with ticketing - no such reservation made by Joseph Ebot. No passenger with a pet on board. Spoke with pilot who confirmed that United does not ship pets.

Plane arrived at 4:33 PM we waited until 5:30 pm. Scammer did not return calls, texts or emails. No pet
