After I contacted another seller before hand she asked me what web site I saw her puppy on because it was sold months ago. About 2 days later the site was gone. Then they sent me another site smithschihuahuahomes.com But they texted me and I’ve been emailed back and forth. Till the last one that seemed off and they avoided my questions about the litter, and he didn’t give me his name. but did send me “updated pics” and when I asked to pay with Apple pay they said their PayPal account got suspended because a customer made a complaint and kept insisting that I use the Zelle app or cash app. I really felt something was off and made an excuse that I couldn’t pay yet. So I started to do research and thank God I did coz I would have been out $730. I even tried to text the number back asking for pictures but never a text back. Thank you everyone that posted about these scammers and I’m so sorry you guys got scammed from these low lifes.

I had the same experience as the two people who posted complaints. I got a Bill of sale and a puppy health guarantee the day the puppy was “shipped” to me with a puppy nanny. I had asked for multiple pictures and even a video that was sent to me before the sale. I talked to a person on the phone several times and communicated via text & emails. Once the puppy was in transit, I received a call telling me the puppy was in distress and needed a special air conditioned crate which was another $750 but the money would be refunded to me once the puppy was delivered. I was concerned and went ahead and paid that fee. Then anothe ohine call told me that the delivery could not be completed until I paid a fee because the county they were traveling from required an inter-commerce fee or something to that effect. That’s when I knew I had been scammed. Thankfully, m back refused the $750 payment so I didn’t loose even more money. I filed a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission. Then I noticed the scammers had changed their website name to SmithFamilyChihuahuas.com. I updated my complaint at that time with the FTC.

One year ago I paid $1000 for Precious a white female chihuahua puppy. I got a bill of sale, which I still have. This amount was to include shipping. They called and said they needed another $200 for shipping. The air company called and said I needed to rent a special crate for $650. I balked at that. Never got my puppy. Paid $1200 to Smiths. Am on fixed income. Was broken hearted at no puppy. Took me 6 months to finally find a cheaper dog. LOST $1200!

Smithchihuahua you purchase the puppy for 580 plus 120 for shipping then they tell you they shipping the puppy but when it arrives to a bogus airline the airline says you have to pay 880 more for a special ventilated crate and that the rental for that is 880 never received the puppy never got a call or email.
