Searching for a particular kind of jacket, I came across this company's website that stated it was going out of business. The website looked very convincingly like a specialty fashion brand, and the jacket I purchased looked very good in the photos and was supposedly $319.95 marked down to $54.95. However, after ordering, I noticed in the tracking information that the item was coming from China, not New York as the website would make you believe. I also started to receive many spam calls a day after I placed my order where before I rarely received any. Finally, the package arrived today, and the jacket included was an absolute joke. It is a cheaply made piece of junk that I believe was actually from a Halloween costume, instead of the beautiful jacket pictured in the website. Returning to the website to look for their returns page it indeed lists their return address in China, and upon a closer look, I now recognize several subtle details on the website that should have indicated that this is not a real company. Googling the brand name brought me to reports from many other people who also very recently went through the same experience and never received a refund when returning items, even losing more money paying to mail them to the Chinese return address.

Published “Going Out of Business Sale” $350.00 jackets for $55.00.

Received item and found it was cheap plastic over man made fur. Nothing like picture. They make it impossible to return because of return costs incurred.

Website (learned chinese in origin) claimed to be a new york company- that ships directly from a new york warehouse using UPS. All false. Claims to be going out of business and steep discount for goods. Goods are not of the quality pictured.

The item for purchase was a cashmere sweater. The item sent was not cashmere and had no label identifying the fiber used to make it. It felt like burlap. When I tried to return the item I was told that it would cost 20-30 dollars plus custom’s fees to return it.

They advertised cashmere sweters for a close out and I fell for it. The sweaters came but they are not the same design and made out of cheap not real fabrics.
