Received call before 8am. Recorded female voice telling me that someone is trying to access my pc and steal my personal information. If I want to protect my computer credentials press 1 to connect to technology department. If no one is attacking my computer then this call is in error, please ignore. I did not press 1 because I know better. What surprised me is that Smith Technologies is a 'real' tech support company. 800Notes indicates that calls from that number with that CallerID have been around for over a year.
