I received a phone call on my home phone from a company claiming to be Smith Technology saying that there was a serious problem with my computer, someone was trying to hack into my computer, and that if I didn't call them immediately, information on my computer, including personal information could be lost. I did listen to the message very carefully, and both the number they called from and the number I was to call back were the same number. I did not call them back, and I will be taking my computer in to be looked at. The call originated from the Ascension Islands.
