The scammer scouted my daughter out for a modeling gig on Instagram. They had her fill out a text interview on a wireapp with a list of questions about why she wanted to model, her goals; etc. The following day, which is today, they sent her a contract to sign, which asked for her address and full name. After she submitted the contract via email, the scammer requested a payment of $100 to receive clothes and a check for $1,500. They wanted her to pick out ten outfits and mentioned that the box of clothes would have a check for $1,500 in it.

My daughter attempted to send $100 via Zelle, but an error message appeared. My daughter sent an email to make the scammer aware of the Zelle error message and was sent a cashapp email address, which is $MaryAMaleaux
