Been calling to resolve a bait-and-switch travel reservation, I have been hung up on 5 times now. They won’t reply via email 2 weeks later. Will be opening a fraud claim

"ashley" from snaptravel, talked to matthew from kent ramada hotel, and upgraded our room to a higher floor, and booked us a stay at the ramada hotel for 4 weeks. we were told to not pay the hotel, as they would dispense the funds for us. A seemingly legit booking company, so we didn't think twice.

Upon arriving at the hotel, we were informed the max stay was 1 week. and there was no higher floor available. the 3k was already pending and nothing to do but pay some more.

do not trust these people, and honestly the ramada hotel is not trustworthy either but thats another story. stay aware

We booked a stay with SnapTravel by phone. SnapTravel did not provide a verbal cancellation/refund policy. It was only after the booking was transacted and they took our credit card that they sent a confirmation with a 100% Non Refundable clause, which was NEVER mentioned. SnapTravel is a scammer and they are quite disagreeable. When we called to dispute and cancel booking the call goes to a call center and it is difficult to understand their English. The help center representative was rude and interrupted the conversation throughout the phone call. They also go by another alias calling themselves Reservation Stay. SnapTravel refused to refund our money and cancel our transaction. We googled the exact Marriott hotel we wanted to stay at and thought the information was leading us to the hotel. It was in fact a third party travel agency which they never identified themselves as such. It was deceptive! They are scammers.

I have repeatedly called to get the $772 I was charged for a reservation I cancelled within 30 minutes of making it and confirmed that the hotel had already cancelled my reservation due to the room error and the snaptravel agent said I would see my refund within 7 days. After I made alternative reservations and returned home, snaptravel is refusing to return my $772?

I told them I didn't authorize a payment on my card and they're telling I understand your frustration like they're telling everyone else I see they can't refund money and you wonder how they profit 22.1 million last scamming fraudulent ahh ppl foreign theifs and I want my funds backkkkkkkkkkbefore I sue this whole company for what they profit
