I was reviewing charges in my bank app and noticed this charge for $38.97 with a merchant named “Sniffies” and in the description it states they are a telemarketing merchant and it provides a phone number. Tried to dispute it with my bank, but they state the charge was authorized. I reached out to the phone number to get more information but it goes straight to voicemail and in the voicemail message it provides an email address. Reached out to the email address and they state they can’t find an account or purchase with my account. I sent them a screenshot of the charge on Dec 20,2024 and haven’t heard back since. Today I received an automated email verbatim “As we haven't heard back on case (#XXXXXX), we're going to go ahead and mark this case as solved.” I have yet to know what service or merchant this is.
