"Peaceful drifting snow fills the night sky. Trees decorated with icicles, blue tone colors, and shimmering lights. On the hour, every hour, the music fades away to a news report forecasting heavy snowfalls. The energy amplifies with rustling trees and gusts of wind, as SNOW! Los Angeles turns into a BLIZZARD! Snow blowing in the air quadruples, a perfect opportunity for a winter photo."
Again, I am told there was no ACTUAL SNOW, which further proves this SCAM.
We were told this event was rain or shine. It was drizzling, so they cancelled the event and told us we could come on another day. All the days were sold out, and due to their crowd control, would make you wait hours for one attraction. Additionally, we had booked one day MONTHS in advance because it was the only day we could attend.
We contacted the company to try and get a refund. They sent us part of their terms & conditions, EDITING OUT the rain or shine part that there were no refunds. We continued to fight back, and forced them to agree to a refund after threatening reporting them (as seen on yelp it seems as if MANY people are reporting this fraudulent scam). They agreed to a refund, then stopped responding. We could not get a hold of them and never saw the money in our account. Luckily, we contacted the credit card company for a refund, but are outraged by the lies Snow Day LA has told to MANY customers. They have 1 and a half stars on Yelp as many people think they have been TRICKED.
