Signed plowing contract made initial deposit, suddenly communication stopped and i felt something wasnt right. I reached out multiple times for the promised driveway staking and he was non responsive. I then reached out and insisted on cancelling my contract, he finally returned a call and was angry and would not refund my deposit although no work was started. Not a bid deal, I just dont want others to fall victim to this jerk.

Tom charged my credit card $350 for a snow plow contract. About a week later he said he is shutting down and will refund money. 6 weeks later he has not refunded money. Stay away from Kay Jay Turf and Snow

I paid in advance for a full season of snowplowing to Cody Miller of Lucky Lawn Care Services in the amount of $540. After our first major snowfall in November, I came home from vacation to find a giant snowbank directly in front of my garage. I called Cody the next day and asked if he could come out and finish clearing my driveway. While he never performed any more work, he drove past my house throughout the week to take pictures of my driveway during a week in which we had 40 degree weather. That same week (on Thanksgiving Day), he emailed me an invoice of $208 for “snow exceeding 1 ft”. This was never clearly stated and therefore not mutually agreed upon in the contract. I tried to dispute the bill and he informed me that the dispute was resolved by him. He did not complete any other work since the initial snowfall.

My wife put out query on Irondequoit Next Door was contacted by this individual who offered to provide snowplowing. She talked to him on the phone and he said he had done an examination of property on google maps and said a seasonal fee would be $200. We accepted this offer but never had a contract.. He said he would be out to put up stakes but never did. We saw chatter on Next Door that others had been scammed by same individual. He does not answer his phone.
