Received a test message from 372168 that said "FreeMSG-Southern Bank 1-833-735-1897: Reply YES or No if you used debit card ending in 2675 , HPSFNLV, $39.99 STOP to opt out." I replied with "NO". Next text from 372168 "FreeMSG Southern Bank Fraud Center. Your response has placed a block on the card. Call us immediately at 1-833-735-1897, avail 24/7. To Opt Out reply STOP." I replied "STOP". I immediately logged into my bank account to find that someone used my debit card to withdraw $33.98 from my bank account yesterday around 6pm CST to pay for a service or product on Apple.com. About an hour later, the charge on my bank account changed from W/D to Recurring. I immediately, called to talk to an Apple agent who helped find the charge, let me know that someone used my debit card to pay for a service, & then the agent canceled my debit card so that it could not be used to make anymore transactions on through Apple. She advised me to contact my bank to let them know what had happened & to stop any transactions using that debit card.
