I was applying for a job on grabjobs.co. There were two jobs listed by different companies: "Part-Time Data Entry Jobs Remote | Work From Home" listed by Social Media Rev with $36-56 hourly pay and "Live Chat Assistant ($280 Per Day) - Part-Time" by Social Prox with $30-55 hourly pay. I believe I applied for both jobs on June 1st, 2023; I was shortlisted for the first job on the 5th and the second one on the 7th. When I fast applied on grabjobs.co for the live assistant job, I noticed the AI was asking me the same questions in the same order as the data entry job and the interviewer was Social Media Rev for both interviews. Additionally, once I was shortlisted and received a message from Social Media Rev about the respective job positions I applied for, once I clicked on the bit.ly link from Social Media Rev, I think the company deleted my application as I don’t see/can’t find my application on grabjobs.co anymore.

Here is how the scam work: I received the same exact message from Social Media Rev which reads as follows: “Thanks for applying to our opportunity [insert opportunity/job listing here] Hi, your application has been approved for this position. We are looking forward to see you on board and to complete your application visit our website for immediate joining.? website link: https://bit.ly/3gGpy6w If you have any question to ask then feel free to contact us. Thanks.” When you click the link, it redirects to this website (https://socialsalesrep.net/live-chat-jobs-quiz/) which asks you to sign up and take a quiz to see what type of live chat job we'll be would be best for you. After you take the quiz, you are led to this site (https://payingsocialmediajobs.com/funnel/joblanding/paid-social-media-jobs-posi...⇄ which has a pop-ad which says “Now Hiring! We are still looking for 5 social media workers to start asap.

Enter your email below to get started:.” The site offers $950/week posting premade videos on YouTube which is not what I applied for and the application deadline on the page changes each day to midnight of the following day. Once you apply for this job by creating an account, you are directed to this site https://payingsocialmediajobs.com/funnel/joblanding/job-approved/?vtid=&spli...⇄ The site ask you to become a member of the company, explains the benefits of being a paid social media job worker, and offers a certificate discount of $27 (normally $97) for lifetime access, the certificate and a “simple short 24-hour training” BEFORE being allowed to work for the company.

TLDR: False advertising & soliciting for money. Don’t trust payingsocialmediajob.com, Social Media Rev or Social Prox.
