Hi! My husband and I each received phone calls yesterday from a number from Washington DC (202-683-9425). Each of use chose not to answer the phone since we didn't know the number and we were both left voice mail messages. In both cases the person on the voicemail stating that we have had 4 serious allegations in our name and that we should call them back to discuss the case. We did not return the calls and we blocked the number, but wanted to let the public know.

I received a call from someone stating that they were from the "Social Security Administration" (800-772-1213) stating the my social security has been suspended and that I needed to talk to a representative about the case. When the representative got on the line, I stated that I knew that this was a scam and that I would be turning them in. This was followed by the person hanging up. I am concerned about the elderly on young impressional people in our community that could possibly not realize this is a scam and might follow through with these creeps.

A man called me and told me that there was a fraudulent charge from a medical operation that was using my SS#. I told him that I knew it was a scam and he started cursing at me. I hung up after this.

They called me it was a robot voice and they said they were with the Social Security Administration and that they were with a department that was filing legal proceedings against me and to contact the back at the number that showed up on my phone as soon as possible.

Business alleged the consumer rented a car found abandoned in Tx with blood and 9 pounds of drugs. Consumer called and spoke Michelle White employee #3156219 case ***, warrant number ***, Mike Rogers #***. Business threated to go to consumers home.

I was called and left with a voicemail asking me to return their call,that their department was about to suspend my SSN in texas for criminal activities. I called back the number and the introduction was 'thank you for calling social security administration". I spoke with a lady who introduced herself as Mary Wilson. She informed me of how they were trying to reach me to verify my ssn and help me stop my SSN from being suspended due to it being used for criminal activities in texas. I asked for the SSN they had and she said no that she needed me to verify it which i refused. I asked if I could go to my local SS AD office to verify and find out what was going on,she then said no that the case has not been uploaded. I asked to upload the case and give me a case number so I could go report to my local administration office,she refused and said they would just suspend my ssn. I call the SSA office in amarillo and was told it was a scam.

Foreign speaking man stating he is calling from the SSA and there is legal action pending against my ss# and if I dont respond that the police will come and arrest me. Then ask for my ss# and address. Hangs up when I asked questions. Has called 2x now.

Caller stated that illegal activity was detected based on my “social” and my assets and “social” would be frozen if I didn’t call them back. I called them back and they identified themselves as the “Social Security Administration”. I told them I was going to report them to the police and they hung up on me.

Receiving phone calls from a robot every 30 minutes that state they are going to suspend my social security number due to suspicious activity found on my social security number. The message states they are an officer with the social security administration, however it is the same robotic message every time. When I called the number back someone picked up within ONE ring and answered "social security administration, how can I help you?". I googled and this, 502-209-4594, is not the SSA number. I have blocked the number from calling my phone.

Got a call around 10:00 am today from the SSA number that I have programmed in my phone. It was a recording stating that my social security will be suspended for suspicious activity and that I should press one to speak to the agent on the line,I hung up the phone. Last week I received the same call from a different number. I called it back and it was a fax machine.

Received a recorded message from someone indicating they were an agent with the SSA and that my social security number had been suspended and was given instructions to call them back. I did not return call as I believe they are trying to get personal information

They called and said they were locking my social security account due to illegal activity and requested that I call a number to resolve it. I hung up after they started to ask me to call this other number.

In the last few weeks, I have been called from several different numbers. The person calling me claims they are from the Social Security Administration and that there has been some activity on my social security number and that legal action may be taken against me. The caller asked me to speak to him in private, with no one else around. He asked for my name, social security number, birthdate, and address. I did not give him any of this information. One caller told me his name is Danny Marshall. Another caller told me his name is Officer Alex Coleman, badge #8523719.

Computer generated call, bad connection. Call number back background noise was loud sounded like a call center. Thought that was suspicious.

I've received more than on robocall saying they need to inform me of legal enforcement actions filed on my SS#. They say there has been much suspicious activity on my SS# and they need to suspend the number unless I call them back. I called back and when the person answered they asked how they could help me and when I said, no, how do you need to help me, they immediately hung up. I am not answering or returning any more of their calls. I just hope some poor unsuspecting person doesn't get taken as after they called from the 815 area code I blocked the number only to then get a call from the 708 area code number today.

They called at least 3 times in this week. This morning about 8:10 am, I received a call i didn't answer at first; something told me to dial the number back; it was a foreigner a guy saying I better take care of a matter before legal proceedings are filed on me; he said my Social Security # is being used in money laundering and drug trafficking and that I wouldn't be able to use my Social Security number if the matter is not taking care of. This guys said he was from the Social Security Administration. The phone number he been calling from is showing just Texas. I also see where a message was left right after they called and I didn't answer.(214)329-9148 a lady came on it was brief saying call this number before legal proceedings is taken.

I got a call from this # at 7:29 pm that showed Social Security Administraton. When my message system picked up they hung up.
