I called back for a good laugh. The person on the other line (indian accent) claimed that the call was coming from the Social Security Administration and needed to confirm my identity so they could help resolve my charges. Caller asked for Name, DOB, and SS#...... lol.
Gave them phony data and they claimed that they could see robbery, assault, and drug charges against me in Texas and that I was going to be turned into the FBI. Before they read the charges I was told to not interrupt and that I would get a chance to defend myself after the charges were listed. Oh, and also something about leaving my blood and saliva in an abandoned car full of cocaine. They really go all out.
Obviously just an identity theft scam, probably just trying to get peoples socials and confirm their info so they can later make calls trying to get your bank info as well.
