The caller said that he was from social security and someone had used my number to rent a car in Texas and the car was found with drugs in it. He asked me to verify my address and last 4 of my social and my wife's social which I stupidly did. He said that agents would come to my home to talk to me about the problem and that there was a warrant out for my arrest because of the car found with drugs in it. The caller also said there were several accounts open in my name, which he told me my exact full name. Of the 3 accounts I only recognized one and it was a bank that I have a credit card open in. I called the credit card company and closed the account. I called the number back and it just rang and rang but now one answered it. The called made an appointment with me to have the agents come the next day to see me. I called the Sherriff department to validate that this was indeed a scam.
