Received a call from 281-816-7262 officer Ted Planzos badge # , ID # Warrant # told An accident happened in Texas my ID was used to rent a car and blood in car plus a lot of drugs…I was told to send my WDL copy to them to prove my ID I asked them to prove their I’d and told to look him up on line ..then he gave me to Brandon Clark the DEA, Badge C951620..I needed to copy my ID and get a Target bond then a federal agent would come to my home tomorrow and give me a new Social security number and help with securing my Identity…..8 said I need to discuss with my spouse they said no…I could be arrested for not cooperating..but I hung up and call my husband ..then the local police called and said they would issue a warrant if I did not cooperate with DEA from Texas…but my husband persisted and called me son then told me to hang up ..it a scam…local police called back and issued a warrant for me my spouse and son…and said I could come to the local office but gave me the address of a close police dept..I continued to hang up and give the no Info…It’s a scam

I got a call from "A D.E.A. agent with a Texas number) ssid i had to cooperate and empty my bank accounts..put all my money on gift cards...and someone from SS office would come to my house to pick up the cards and issue me a Cashier's check that could be used with my new SS number to pay my bills...and when the theifs try to use my old social..

The D.E.A.would be notified

Callers from various numbers call and say that my SS benefits are in jeopardy if I do not respond. They transfer me to someone else who asks for my Social Security number. If they are really the Social Security office, and not scam artists, they would have my number. When I told them this they hung up.

Called at work number saying my ssn was tied to some money laundering and credit card fraud, drug trafficking in texas. I was instructed to pull monies out my bank account, put max amount on NIKE cards and provide them with card numbers and pin numbers. They took the money from those cards. I called the vendor for these cards to suspend when i notice the balances were at 0 but was told there's a 7-10 day investigation surrounding the transactions. The scammers had me on hold for sevetal hours as they were assuring me that they were investigating my accounts to confirm my identity. Frantic I called my banks and social security administration and immediately was instrucTed to hang up on them. They persistently call me and email me stating I was running from them. They used another number posing as the county sheriff when I didn't respond on the previous number. I was scammed 2400 dollars from loading these NIKE gift cards.

Then a recording asked me if I wanted to purchase a medical alert device. I pressed 2 for “no” and then a recording said thank you for participating in their survey.

We have been getting these calls for about 6 months. Receiving several of these automated messages every day. One day we received 5 in 45 min. at that time we called the local police. They returned the call for us, and the calls stopped for about a month. They have returned once again 1 to 3 times a day. They say you have recieved this phone call from our Dept because legal enforcement action against your Social Security # for fraudulent activity. Please call back as soon as possible or we will have to file legal action. The return phone call changes usually every day or so. Since no one here ever returned the call we are assuming they are trying to either get money or our Social Security no.
