Softsol data entry job Scam

After trying to get a job through websites like indeed and similar ones, I got a text asking for a zoom or Skype interview. It was a bunch of texting back-and-forth. Offering to send a check for over $2800 for office materials and software. First they ask for your full name address and phone number and email address. Then they try to send the fake check which is not cashable because none of it really exists. These people are evil and have evil hearts. They have no concern for anyone other than their selves so they can steal from you.

I applied for a data entry work from home job on Indeed for a company called “Softsol”. They sent me a text message asking if I was still interested and I replied yes. They then proceeded to tell me that the job would conduct interviews via Zoom chat. After the interview I was selected for the position, they then proceeded to send me a check for Mobile Deposit only to purchase job expenses through vendors they selected. The mobile deposit didn’t go through so they sent me out a physical check via FedEx and as I proceeded to my bank to deposit it I found out the check was fake and it was a scam.
