Type of a scam Phishing
I went to purchase MS Office Home & Business 2019 software at their great price. At the payment page, I had to re-submit my card info over and over. It gave me the lame error message something to the effect that the address fields were not fully filled in. (I have screenshot.)
When I contacted their customer service dept., I was forced into chat...who insisted that I send a screenshot of the billing address. Then the agent quickly replied that their tech department was doing an important software security update as mandated by the payment processor...at 1pm Pacific Time?!?!
Later, I hit my head and go "Doh!" No real company would schedule a major site update at midday (prime business hours).
So, please go after these jerks. While I did NOT return in 2 hours to make a purchase, I have still submitted my debit card account to them and followed up with a screen shot of my billing address.
Please chase these unscrupulous psychopaths down and shut them down. I am happy to provide further details so that your undercover unit can get grifted by them as well.
