Type of a scam Phishing
I was approached at a festival by a Leaf Filter rep and provided my name and phone number (I was pressured to provide more such as address and email but wasn’t comfortable). I have been receiving spam calls and pre-recorded voicemail for 3 months. When I answered to ask them to stop calling, there was no response and they hung up. The next day I began receiving 4+ spam/bot friend requests on multiple social media platforms with my phone number anttached and each day after, adding me by my phone number. I have never received spam requests on Snapchat prior to this.
