Female caller knows my last name and asks if it is me. When I answered yes, went into a pitch about being from something vague like "women's breast cancer charities", and eventually gets to asking "Can we count on you to" make a donation, at which point I hung up.

I normally do not pick up calls from unknown numbers, but I had been waiting for a call from my local hospital. My concern is that 1) the caller knew my last name, and 2) might have recorded my saying "yes" when asking "Is this...?" per the currently rumored scam calls that supposedly can use the recording of you saying "yes" for illegal purposes.
