I ordered a new SONDORS LX from SONDOR Premium Ebikes & it started breaking from day 1? This SONDORS claimed the SONDORS LX was a "premium" Ebike on their website, but when it arrived this SONDORS LX was FAR from being Premium Quality? They stopped selling the LX just when the Warranty expires, then your left high & dry? DON'T BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS GARBAGE EBIKE COMPANY PLEASE! ITS NOT WORTH IT, BECAUSE IT WILL BREAK THEN YOUR SCREWED BECAUSE OF PROPRIETARY PARTS THAT NOBODY ELSE SELLS SO THE BIKE IS GARBAGE NOW?

In February 2022 I placed a $100 deposit on a Sondors Metacycle. I received an email that we had to start making payment toward the electric motorcycle or the price would increase. I opted to pay in full ($5000) in March of 2022 with a delivery date of 3rd Qtr 2022. In October of 2022 I enquired about my delivery date and was told it would be in 4th Qtr 2022 or 1st Qtr 2023. I have sent several email to Rigo (customer service) and received the reply of “we’ll send you an email” or “it wont be long now”, and I am still waiting. My Order # is ***** and they have advertised that they have delivered over 20,000.

I would be interested in knowing - How many have are on order, - How many have been fully paid for, and - How many have been delivered. Sondors continues to push and sell their Metacycle in emails delivered to me.

Mr. Sondors:

On November 1, 2021 I ordered an artic Metacycle with order #xxxxx from the Sondors website. I paid the balance of $4900 on November 15,2021 and shipping cost of $700 on September 21, 2022. I expected a call and delivery in November or December 2022. Since I had not been contacted for delivery, I cancelled my order with a call to the support line on December 27, 2022. I assumed the refund process would be effective immediately.

When I did not see a refund within a reasonable amount of time, I began calls again to customer service.

January 18, 2023, I talked to Mike on the support line. He said that the cancellation of the metacycle in their records wasn’t initiated until January 13, 2023. Ticket number is xxxxx. The refund ticket number is xxxxx. The processing was stated to be 7-15 business days with the refund to go on my Visa card.

February 3, 2023, I made two calls to Sondors support line. 1st one I left a message. 2nd I talked to a support person. I requested that Sondors expedite my refund since they have exceeded the 7-15 days to process the refund. I got more assurances that it would happen.

February 15, 2023, Two calls to Sondors support line. I talked to Luis. He explained that finance could not process my order supposedly because of the initial $100 deposit was made on the xxxxx card. Luis recommended a wire transfer. I told him that I will talk to my attorney Friday if not resolved by finance and that I want it refunded on to my current card, not a wire transfer. He made an urgent request to the finance department to expedite this matter.

Another call to Sondors support line and talked to Michael. I had called my credit union and talked about the wire transfer process. I told him about my earlier conversation and had resolved how to do a wire transfer to reduce the risk of transfer. My understanding was that someone from finance would call me this afternoon. No one called.

February 16, 2023, Two calls to the Sondors support line. I talked to Marlia who took my wire transfer information. She assured me that it would be resolved by the 17th or 20th and that she would leave yet another urgent message for finance to call me and resolve the refund. At this point I called my attorney’s office and told them that I thought the issue would be resolved. Additionally, I called the Sondors headquarters 323 372-3000 and asked for Matt Irish who is the Director at Sondors to try and resolve the refund issue with no success.

When the wire transfer did not happen by the 20th I sent an email to Marlia, got no response, and then called on Tuesday 21st, spoke to customer support who, once again, promised that the refund would be resolved and sent yet another urgent message to finance department.

My understanding from the FTC is that you have seven working days to provide the refund. It has been well over that time limit. You have all our credit card information as well as our checking account. I am definitely feeling that Sondors has taken advantage of me and are performing questionable business practices. I’m sure that you want to act in good faith given your upcoming IPO.

To resolve the refund problem, I would appreciate an immediate refund by COB Thursday February 23, 2023.

I look forward to your reply and a resolution to my problem. I will wait until Friday as stated before seeking help from the state attorney general’s office as well as other consumer protection assistance. Please contact me at the above email address or by phone at xxxx.
