I was contacted by text, Hanna Thorner claimed she saw my resume on Indeed and thought I would be a good candidate for a remote data entry position at a company based in Sweden, and to contact @Elisabet_Sortera, the hiring manager of the sustainable energy company. I did and she asked me to download Telegram. I did, had an hour of so interview by IM only which ended in her saying that I was hired after waiting for her to send my information to her bosses. I asked several questions that she didn’t answer but told me that I would receive paperwork tomorrow morning 9/20/23, she asked where I banked at in order to make sure they had them in their network. Also she asked that I only answer with “okay” or “yes”. By the end, when she told me that there was a check coming that I needed to use to purchase the equipment, I asked her if she could pay the vendor directly and as of now she hasn’t responded. I hope that I haven’t just been scammed
