Was approached about a job. Offered an Administrative Assistant/ Data entry Receptionist position. Communication was on MS TEAMS. and I was hired. They sent me an email containing an offer letter, which I was to sign along with a copy of my DL.

The following day I was told that training would start and last 1 week. They asked me a series of questions and I was to reply with my answers. After the initial interview, they offered to pay off any overdue/ overdrawn Credit cards. I allowed them to pay off 1 cc. The following day they asked me to use the same cc that they paid off and go to Best Buy and use it to buy Apple gift cards. This was to pay for the software I was going to need for the position I was hired for. There was also a promise that there was equipment being delivered to my home that they , of course, were going to pay for. I had already contacted the NJ ScamPulse.com and asked them to help me look up this company. They advised me to stop all contact immediately. I did.

The following day I received a Fed Ex package containing a letter and a check. This was to be deposited into my bank for the purchase of the equipment. I have done nothing with the check nor have I had contact with these people.
