I was contacted via WhatsApp by "Cindi" from Geffen Records. After confirming my WhatsApp account, I was then contacted by "Stephanie" from "Soundcloud" and offered a job as a Music Communication Optimizer. The offer was a remote position rating and optimizing new music streams uploaded by artists, allegedly. Researching the URL provided, I found it was registered on 9/15/2024 and found similar communications referenced on Reddit about a similar scam that involved paying the "business" in order to receive compensation, as well as operating in crypto.

I told "Stephanie" that I was looking for opportunities with a more established firm, and all communication stopped.
