I was informed by Mr. Smith that I had to purchase a certain number of items for work, as listed. He sent me two "soft checks," both of which are fraudulent as determined by my former bank, PNC.
I had emailed Mr. Smith today and informed them that PNC determined both checks are fraudulent, to my dismay, and I was greatly disappointed when he, or anyone else, had not responded right away, or at all today.
