Danyel Mohu is my name, an investment manager who works with the Hedge Fund Department in South Africa. I am the fund manager to foreign expatriate who shares the same surname with you and also from your country of origin. My client, worked as a natural resources and geological consultant in South Africa and earned huge amount of money while prospecting for solid minerals business in Africa.
On the 16th of January 2002 the foreign expatriate was involved in a motor accident and died. Since his death, none of his family members has approached my office as his appointed beneficiary to claim his proceeds. I decided to contact you today privately, with hope that you are a reliable and trustworthy person, whom will assist me in secretly securing the money left behind by my departed client before the funds will be returned the asset forfeiture department.
Note that it is important that my contact be somebody like you who can in no way be linked me in order to avoid suspicion of insider collaboration by my colleagues in the office. Currently, the hedged funds by my client has been cleared and is ready to be paid out to any of his appointed next of kin. This becomes the main reason why I am establishing this contact with you so that you will act as the appointed next of kin to my client. Therefore I will secretly feed in your data to our computer database so that our sever will identify you as the next of kin of the deceased as you are also a foreigner who shares the same family name with my dead client. On this developement, the proceeds of this account should be paid to you. I will provide all vital information that will be needed by you to back up your claims. All I require from you is your honest co-operation and assurance that you will hand over a 70% cut of the transferred sum in good faith to me while you will keep 30% of the sum to yourself as your profit for helping me. You will also assist me in investing some of my share in a lucrative business in your country. Once this deal is successfully concluded, I will be coming over to your country.
