A person named “Vetuta Dumbrava” wanted to buy my tv stand that I was selling. She then proceeded to “send me the money” over venmo and said it was coming from a business account. I got an email from “venmopay” saying that the person needed to pay me $300 to have my account accept business account money. They “paid” me $300 and asked me to pay them back. They gave me the name “@colleen-payne-12” to pay and my card only went through for $150 but they said they didn’t receive it and to pay them $300 on Zelle. It went right through so they got $450 and said they would venmo me back and never did. I got another email later from “venmopay” saying I needed to send them $1000 so I knew it was a scam. They said their business was “Southpoint Auto Sales”. They are pretending to buy things on Facebook Marketplace and scam people. I lost $450 from this.
