I applied for a job on Indeed. They emailed me back requesting an interview. In the email, they had the job description and everything about the job and instructions about how to interview. It was a text based interview which I figured was normal being they are from Vietnam. I am in a text interview with Michael Dimentri via Teams. After the interview is over, they gave me a score and told me further instructions. The next day, I get an email with a job offer and a very specific list of equipment. I message Michael on Teams letting them know I received the email. They asked me if I had the equipment listed and I said I don’t have that specific desk or chair but I have ones that work. Michael let me know accounting will send me a check for the equipment and I have to purchase through their vendor, which I’ve actually done through a legit job before. Michael told me to provide my address and they would get a check cut. I gave them a PO Box. They said in the meantime to fill out the offer letter and provide the two forms of identification. I did. A few days go by, no check and no correspondence. I message Michael and they said they were talking to accounting. A few more days go by, I get a new email to interview from a different email. I asked Michael what’s going on, no response. Now, I get a new email to interview everyday from different emails. None of which are gmails.
