I was contacted on face book as a friend of mine. they sent me a message on messenger about a program that helps small businesses and folks needing help. they said that they had been awarded a grant and that I may be on the list of persons to win the grant. they gave me a number to call that sent me to a voice mail. I did not leave a message but received a text from a number and he said his name was Anthony .

He ask for mine and my husbands names to see if we was on the list of beneficiaries...I gave him only our names . he then said we was on the list and that his head board would be contacting me...a few min later another person contacted me by text and said he was a social private assistant program from the government. I ask for his information so I could check him out and he would not give the information . he said they are with the government. after several questions his attitude changed from friendly to rude. I told him I would be reporting him and the person on facebook for the scam. he continually stated that it was not a scam and that it was legit. I have kept all text from them. he sent me what he called his file numbers for my case. He sent a request for my personal information such as address , phone, how much I make a month...ect.
