Foreign accent/hard to understand. Said Sparklight was sending technician to our home to replace our cable box and modem. They wanted a credit card for a small "guarantee" fee to allow them to schedule an appointment. I refused to give them a credit card and told them they were not authorized to charge ANY card they supposedly had on file. Said i could not verify they were actually Sparklight. Later I called back the number on my caller ID and found it was disconnected. Called Sparklight directly to see if they were sending techs to people's homes and they said no. This is a clever scam because the so-called amount to be charged was small. If you give them a credit card number, they would change up to your credit limit or beyond.
