Tried to buy a purebred Bengal kitten. I found "https://www.sparkbengals.com/index-2.html" via Google search where they advertise(and STILL do). All communication was done by email and they provided their address and phone # after I asked. Cost was $900 (low for this breed)+ $300 to transport the kitten by plane from LA. to be picked up at our local airport. I was to asked to take a screenshot of the receipt page after the transfer by Zelle (to a different email address: [email protected] Overton) before they would begin making travel arrangements. When I went to pay, I learned Zelle has a $500 per day limit so I sent $500, promising the balance following.I suddenly came to my senses. It was suspicious they did not mention this limit. They ceased contact with me when I asked for their vet’s contact info. I opened a fraud claim with my bank but they were unable to refund me because it was sent by Zelle.
