He posted a phony Facebook page soliciting vendors for an event at Liberty first credit union arena April 5-7, 2024. I completed the application and paid $70 via Venmo for vendor space. I had a fall accident and was trying to contact them to see if I could get a refund as I would not be able physically to do the show. I emailed splash festivals but did not receive a response from Jaysan Stonnett. On the venue event site, I found an email for hpi festivals and spoke with the person responsible for exhibit space. She informed me I had been scammed and that they had received similar calls earlier this week. My friend experienced the same scam along with others. I have reported to Venmo and they have suggested I report this to law enforcement.
