I received a call from one of the numbers asking me whether or not Spectrum installed my Internet service. I recently moved and had my Spectrum Internet service transferred to my new residence. I replied, "Yes, it is installed." and that more or less concluded the conversation. I felt that something was wrong if that is all that the phone call was intended to accomplish. I called the number and it gave a pre-recording saying that it is a "Spectrum authorized dealer" and that the call was being recorded. I hung up but received a phone call from the other number and it was the same voice saying she just received a phone call from my number. I asked her if she really does work for Spectrum and she asked for my first and last name, at which point I immediately hung up. I called the second number a second time and hung up. Then the same number called me back again. I answered but did not say anything. It was the same voice as well. That confirms to me that whoever is operating those phone numbers is a scammer.
