I received a voice mail from 812-834-0832 advising that Spectrum has issued a 50% discount on my monthly bill, which is expiring today. To keep this active, please call back at 855-767-8939 from 8 am to 5 pm Pacific Standard Time. I called the number and spoke with Alexander at Ext.799. He gave me an authorization Code of SPC626. The phone number for Spectrum Billing Dept 844-596-2110.He said Spectrum would pay off my February Spectrum bill in the amount of $234.28 if I paid the first 6 months (M A M J J A) half price bill ($116/mo) up front with Target gift cards. I could purchase (2) Target gift cards with $348 on each card from CVS, Walgreens, Kroger's etc. He sent me an email from Spectrum confirming the payment of my February bill. He told me I would not receive a bill from Spectrum for the next 6 mos. After that I will receive a bill in the amount of $116 for the next 2 years and 6 months. If I paid with the Target gift cards within 3 hrs I would receive a bonus gift. I said I couldn't get the cards until tomorrow He said I could have 24 hrs or could go to Target.com, search for gift cards, get 2 cards for $348 each, select how I wanted to receive the gift cards and then call the above Spectrum Billing Dept. Phone number and give them the authorization code and pay with the Target gift cards. I called Spectrum Customer Service and they told me they did not have any promotions with Target and not to pay anything.
