I was wondering if there is a scam based on Spectrum cable service. I normally don't answer my phone. I was waiting for a phone call from the hospital and answered. The caller told me he was from the Spectrum Promotional Department. Promotion for the elderly. He said it is all under Federal Affordable Connecting Program. I never heard of it. I asked for a supervisor. He gave me Chris Grey Badge number C1002 and Harry Wilson Badge number 10024. They called from two phone number 816-942-5722 and 440-621-0861. How do they know I had Spectrum? He said we need the number of your account to verify. I said you should have it. I never gave bank accounts. I did give my Social Security number. I should not have done that. .
