I received a call from an individual claiming to be from the company SPECTRUM. The voice mail stated that my existing account is qualified for a 50% off discount promotion. When I called them back they asked for me to purchase Target gift cards in order to redeem my Promotion.

I did not comply and hung up the phone. I then called Spectrum actual and told them about the promotion and they confirmed it was a scam.
