I was contacted via email from a "Tamara Berry" ([email protected]) who stated she was with Speedtech Inc. and they had received my application for an Administrative Assistant Position on ZipRecruiter. She said that I needed to create a google account and to contact the Hiring Manager via Google Hangouts at [email protected]. I didn't remember applying to the company but I had put in several applications so thought I would give them the benefit of the doubt. I immediately expressed doubt after contacting Mr. Pearson as I could not locate an active website (or any information for the company) and in his email very little solid information was given about the company. I was told they were opening a new location in Louisville and were hiring for the Admin Assistant position. Long story short they kept saying I had to answer questions before they'd give more information and I finally flat out asked for proof their company was legitimate and BBB.com accredited and they immediately stopped responding.
