- Adelanto, CA, USA

Speedway Ship not only employed me with a remote shipping job for a month with the promise of $3340.00 which they never payed me. But they also scammed me out of almost $500.00 on my credit card $433.91 with two check reversal fees totaling in $30.00 dollars each equaling $60.00 and a freeze on my credit card do to fraudulent activity. They blocked me from all communication I filled out a w4 form with my social security number they have my address bank information. The job seemed legit they have an HR who I communicated with an outgoing shipping manager (Ted Barns) who spoke with me, a incoming shipping manager (Torin Farrel) who spoke with me daily and a manager named (Anne Williamson) who performed the credit card scam on me. I turned down legitimate jobs stopped looking for work with the impression that I was an employee at speedway ship llc a third party shipping job. I have a wife and two children and we needed the check I was supposed to get 4/14/2023 exactly one month from the day I sent out my first package. Not to mention the gas I used to deliver the packages, the ink that came from my own pocket to print the shipping labels. A month of slave labor to these people. They have now blocked my number I can't reach any one the package's that were on there way to my address have been canceled they have my social security number they ghosted me. And I believe they believe they have gotten away with this horrendous hand theft crime, and I believe they are doing this to a lot more people than just myself. These people need to be stopped. I do not believe they are using the names they were born with. So I don't know if they will ever get caught and I'm sure I lost the money they owe me and scammed me out of, but . I hope there is something the ScamPulse.com Can do to make sure this doesn't continue to happen to good people who are just trying to work remote

I was contacted by phone and email from multiple people, i have many phone numbers and emails. They offered me a packer/stocker position. The base pay was $3000 and month and $40 per package. The “manager” also had me order free boxes and supplies from usps and ups. The business website and employee portal looks legitimate. The thing that worries me the most is they send out a w-4 for tax purposes.

Called saying they worked for a company called Speedway Ship or Speedway Logistics USA LLC. Got a photo of my DL (Driver’s License). They said it was for a stocker & packer position. Luckily packages dont get shipped directly to my door. BEWARE they money will sound amazing but it’s a scam. I am a stay at home mother trying to make money to support her family. Im tried of being scammed.

- Birmingham, AL, USA

Person contacted me by phone about a stocker/ packer or picker/packer job. I had to send a copy of my driver's license to verify my identity. Afterwards, I received an email with the job description and a separate email with the company website. I also received a phone call from a person claiming to be my supervisor of the position. So, I had to log into the website, accept the task for package pickup or delivery and once package arrived, I would click received. I had to open the package to make sure it matched the description on the website, take pictures of it, and print out a mailing label after it was reviewed. Then I had to drop off the package at USPS, FedEX, or UPS. I was told payment was $100 for every package delivered and an extra $100 for picking up a package. After the first package, I started to do more research and could not find this job anywhere. I tried to reach out to the company that was sent to me but no response. Then I got concerned. I did a little more digging. From what I researched, these jobs are too good to be true and these packages are supposed to be stolen goods purchased with stolen cards or fake cards. I immediately stopped after the first package. I tried to call the numbers back of the supervisors and gotten no answer. I felt then I was scammed.

Someone first contacted me named Dina Hughes. She told me everything about the process and job offer and told me I was already hired. The job offer was basically an at home package reviewer where they send packages to my home and then I review and repackage and send elsewhere. I was skeptical just because the offer sounded too good to be true. They sent me their page and papers to sign, I didn't sign anything, just viewed papers and sent them my ID. It was a bad move on my end, but it happened. Their page seems fine, uses the "http" and has the lock on the URL meaning its secured; but the page itself isn't searchable or findable without the link. On top of that, the site has the address of the location, when I searched the address on maps, the location didn't have an active business. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and thought maybe they didn't have it set up. So I called the business next to it and they confirmed that there was in fact a business, but not a business like the one I described or the one I was getting contacted by. I gave them my thanks and left with that information. They contacted me again today. It was someone else this time. Different numbers than the last time and also, the number on the site doesn't work or sends me directly to voicemail. I continued to go into the site to see what I could find to prove that they're not a real business, only other thing I can say is that their format on the site was maybe off? and they didn't have a careers tab on their site which most companies have if they're legit. I don't know, they also said that they originated in Europe and expanded to Asia and now are moving to the USA. That's all the info I have on them as far as I can recall at the moment.
