Type of a scam Online Purchase
This individual placed an order with my company May 26th 2020, and was posted the same day to the US. On June 8th the customer contacted my company that the order had not yet been received. I explained due to the pandemic, social distancing and not having a full workforce there is the likelihood of a delay.
From that date until the June 27th I received a total of 104 messages of those 104 messages, 66 of them were extremely vocal with insults, threats, and often using profanity. This continued until the 84th message where I contacted Etsy with my concerns. I was advised once items leave the UK, and confirmation of posting supplied to the customer, one cannot be held responsible for the US postal service, and to ask the customer to desist for making any further contact. The customer continued until message 103. I contacted Etsy yet again who intervened on my behalf?
In all of this I remained professional and not dipped to that already low level where she is.
A full refund was given, please see attached. Apart from the refund the customer will still receive the order.
Message 104, just one extra tease, the individual messaged, “I see you have stopped shipping to the USA” Not only is this individual unpleasant but out of spite attempted to maligned my name
An extremely unpleasant individual who has attempted to besmirch and damage my reputation something I work very hard for.
In an already fierce world of competition this type of behaviour, customers like HER no seller needs or is welcomed.
