Found this Devon Rex cat breeder on Google. The prices for the kittens are a tiny fraction of the cost Devon Rex cats usually are. This cat breed is usually $2500-$3000 but this breeder is selling them for $650 plus $100 shipping for a total of $750. I contacted them to discuss buying a kitten. I live in Canada. They said they are in the states and can ship the kitten to me after payment is sent. The breeder asked for payment of $750 and said they would ship the kitten to me. They said it’s a pure bred and will be the perfect pet for me and comes with everything top of the line and top of the line pet courier (but no actual details). They asked for my details and payment and were very speedy about closing the sale without even knowing much about me as I barely said much. I asked about doing a video call to see the kitten. They said they don’t do video calls. I asked for their address saying my friend lives close to them and can come see the kitten for me before I send payment. They stopped emailing me. And I haven’t heard from them since. This is 100% a scam. The emails were fishy from the beginning and I had my suspicions and by the end I’m convinced 100% they’re scamming.
