Scammer listed a cust. service number for cash app on google...when refunding the money they "accidentally" sent $100 more then was entitled. Using a series of dummy accounts deposits showed as pending and eventually showing over $200 in overpayments, then was asked to send back to cash app through play store pre paid cards...i was asked to send pics of the cards with the numbers scratched off, Only then would the deposits go from pending to actual in the account linked to cash app. ...then when calling cash app after $200 disappeared, it was a fake Technical support, who then was asking to install and run "Zoom Assist" which shares the phone screen with the person your in session with.. Come to find out the "pending deposits" could only be seen on the online page from the victims phone.... The "pending deposits" were never actually there. The bank couldn't see them of course, only on the victim's phone. So beware!! They were able to actually show transactions that were fake that looked as if they were actual activity on the account activity page. Pretty elaborate!! With customer service on one phone and technical support on another phone, both on speaker....both were saying the other was a scammer!!! DO.NOT CALL NUMBERS FROM GOOGLE.OR ANY OTHER SEARCH ENGINE FOR CASH APP SUPPORT...THEY ( CASH APP) DO NOT HAVE CUSTOMER SUPPORT NUMBERS, YOU CAN ONLY EMAIL THEM. ASK YOUR BANK FOR CASH APP CONTACT INFO AS MINE HAD IT!!!!
