It appears that Sportsmansgunshop.com has fraudulently received an order #6816 for $157 and received $157 from Kevin Evans via Apple Pay on February 12, 2024. This request is for an immediate refund. They take payment and deliver nothing !!!

I was browsing for some reloading primers (I enjoy shooting as a hobby) and found via web search that Sportsmans Gunshop had them in stock. I placed an order via one of their cash-only methods (credit cards were not an option). I got a very valid-looking invoice emailed back to me stating that they would send me tracking information upon receiving payment confirmation. I was using CashApp for payment so I sent to their provided (via text) CashApp ID and after several different ID tries where the transaction was accepted and then quickly rejected and automatically refunded payment, they would provide a new ID for me to use (3 times this happened) before it finally accepted an ID on the 4th try, that would not be refused by CashApp. I asked about this and they said it "this often happens frequently with CashApp" but usually gets resolved thru multiple attempts, just like what I had experienced. I was brand new to CashApp use and took their word for it. The final ID that was accepted and went thru was to "$JoDami8" ... registered to John Damico. They explained I would likely receive tracking information for my order by end of that day. I never got it. I chatted with them the next day and they said it would definitely be sent within a few hours, that they were running behind with order processing. Never got it ! The confirmed purchase occurred on on Wed. Jan 31st, 2024. Today is the 3rd of February ... nothing sent and no communications thus far received ! My purchase totaled $103 ... now gone into John's wallet for no merchandise sent ... I am now counting it as a total loss. CashApp unfortunately can't help me because the money was personally accepted (not a business) and the acceptee (John Damico) is not responding to a refund request. This place is a total SCAM ! Legal authorities need to know about it. It supposedly is located in Jersey City, NJ but the address actually says "Parabellum Sports" in Google Maps ... nothing is showing up in Google Maps regarding a Gunshop being even near that location !

Went to website, started online chat inquiring about product. Agent said order would ship next day with a tracking number. Placed order using paypal as payment on 11/7/23. Never received confirmation email or tracking number. After attempting to chat several times to get an update, no answer would be given. Finally chatting again today, and the "agent" was rude and told me not to come back to site again. Still no answer on if order was placed or on tracking number. After digging deeper online, several others have had same issues with this site and never received product and lost their money.

Name being used for Paypal payment was Tray Hooper. Scammer also said payment had to be "friends and family" through Paypal, unbeknownst to us, because you can't report a claim or ask for refund when sent this way.

I am beginning to get suspicious. I placed an order yesterday for $102 and had received an invoice showing items ordered, stating order tracking number would be sent and order would be shipped upon payment. I initiated payment via CashApp. Had to use several IDs until it finally went thru. Today still no tracking number sent and when using their chat they said the tracking number would be coming later today. I have a bad feeling that I just lost $102 dollars.
