Type of a scam Employment
I received an E mail from Spy Film. I had my resume posted on several employment sites as a chef. They were offering a freelance opportunity. in Hawaii. The E mail came from David Gregory Producer Assistant Media Relations Specialist. They stated I was hired for a three day shoot. I googled to see if it was a scam. It gave fake check information. They mailed me a cashiers check for $3950. This made me suspicious. Doesn't sound right to pay me before I do the work. I was to deposit the check. Keep $500 and send the remainder to the travel agent to book the trip. They told me to notify them when the check was deposited. I was to send account information. I did not deposit the check. They have also texted me. Their number is 781-689-0138
