I have prime video on my tv. I went to put on a movie and i was prompted to call the phone number on the screen to activate. I thought this was odd as I hadn’t been asked before but I had just hooked up a new tv modem so thought maybe that was why.

Red flags come up as I was talking to someone in New York and his English was so broken he was hard to understand.

He offered me prime video for $50 for 5 years or lifetime subscription for $100. Another red flag as I thought I would be paying monthly as I was just finishing a free trial.

So I opted for 5 years. The charge on my credit card came up as SQ Link Code Solution.

I questioned him about membership and the company name not showing as Prime on my card charge.

Long story short I just thought I was being paranoid and the number was on the prime video site on my tv screen.

So I have changed passwords and csncelled credit card.

I do have the email response from them but couldn’t attach it.
