I applied through ZipRecruiter. The day after I applied, I got a text and email asking me to to interview the next day. I interviewed at Square3 Jersey City, NJ even though the position I applied for was in Elizabeth, NJ. The interviewer told me 40 people were interviewing with 20 moving on to a second round interview the next day. The position I applied for was Entry Level Marketing Assistant, but when I interviewed it was for a management training program instead. I was told this program would last 23-52 weeks, then I would be able to manage my own location in their rapidly expanding business. The interview last only 15 minutes. After the interview I asked the interviewer for a business card, he said he didn't have any. I then asked for his email address and he said its on the company's website. However the only email address on the website was general email address used for business inquires and other things. There website has no information about the company and I Google search the company and there was no information about them, only a Glassdoor review and Glassdoor interview review stating that person had a similar experience as I had. The email I received from the company asking to interview me said the hiring manager will go over the hours, compensation, and the company background to see if it is a good match and some of your past experience as well. The goal is to make sure all questions are answered on both sides after the meeting." However I was never told about then hours and compensation and not given a chance to ask questions. Later that day I received a call from the interviewer saying that I advanced to the second round of interviewers, however I obviously declined it.
