I contacted this guy (Scott Soika Sr.) to do some paint repair on my 2000 C5 through an ad he had placed on the Facebook marketplace,I met with him and he went over my car and explained all the issues he was going to fix, "it will look like you drove it off the showroom floor" he said, "I got you, I will take good care of it" he explained. ALL LIES! Scott charged me $1,500 to do the work and said to give half down, I paid $800 in cash and left my car at his home on July 30. After many text messages and 17 days later he dropped my car off at my home with no work done, the transmission had been destroyed, my rear windshield was knocked out, there was a half inch of water covering my entire floor, cigarette ashes all over the interior (I don't smoke), the front end of the car has shifted to the left, the front clip is gouged up with huge cracks, all the body lines are off and my warning light are on in the gauge cluster. He obviously had taken my money and my car for a 2-week joy ride and destroyed it, the guy has no remorse or concern for anyone's property. I AM WARNING ALL, DO NOT TRUST THIS GUY, HE IS A CRIMINAL! I spoke to his neighbors and every one of them said he is a crook and that he has multiple lawsuits against him from his previous construction company for doing similar deals, ie. taking money from people and not doing the work. SCOTT SOIKA SR. Remember that name and stay away.
