Type of a scam Other
Skinny one is dated 05/19/2022 claiming SSDC is working with BCBS of AZ to help member qualify for SSDI. Gives Tel# (that no one answers after 4pm CT), website (that doesn't work).
Fat letter dated 05/27/2022 claims sent letter long time ago and again claiming working with BCBS of AZ to help people get SSDI. Listing same Tel# and website again. Now with username and password supplied AND a 2-page questionnaire packet included.
Both letters have tracking ID that some *rep* will pull your information up with (once you call the 800# really early).
Problem is #1 how did they get my name and address, because (as I checked with BCBS of AZ) the insurance is NOT working with SSDC services in any shape or form. SSDC is NOT a vetted vendor of BCBS anywhere.
#2, the *packet* looks simple enough and will trick people into committing Social Security Fraud. And while they claim there is no fee- there always is a fee involved for any service trying to get something from the government thru a 3rd party.
