I received 3 letters in the mail in one envelop stating that they were unable to process our premium payment with the credit card currently on file for each phone. I didn't understand, what premium payment? So I called the phone number and the person on the phone asked my name and then asked me to verify something. I could not understand or make out what he was trying to verify, but it didn't matter because I told him "No". I would not verify and that I had a question. He hesitated and then asked what was the question. I asked about the letter and he proceeded to explain. He asked to verify something again and I said no I will do the rest online. He said no, no, and I said again that I would do the rest online and hung up on the man. On the letter it stated that your wireless provider cannot assist you in reconciliation of the account (another red flag). I called Verizon anyway! They said that they had never heard of the company and they will make a note in my file regarding this that it sounded like fraud, to keep the letters and that they will check to make sure there was not another account with my information. I contacted the BBB and they advised me of this website in which I am thankful. I will make sure everyone in my office knows of this and will contact my family as well. I will tell people that I am waiting in line with and anyone else that will listen. Please pass this on to your families especially our young adults and our elderly. We are all susceptible to be scammed...be careful!!!
