I opened an email that invited me to secretly evaluate businesses. They would cover my cost and pay me a fee. Any products purchased in the process I would be able to keep. I know entities do this kind of surveys so it seemed somewhat legit. It required my SS# for tax purposes and I must admit, that did create concern. I used a mailing address that was tied to a business (with an EIN #) bank account that keeps a minimal balance, just in case it was a scam. That was several week ago. Today I received priority mail with a check in it to fulfill the agreement. I googled the address and what seemed to be the company name, name of individual tied to the address and found nothing viable. I have attached the content of the envelop for your review. I think they just do not have sufficient information to withdraw from my account, but I am concerned they may find a way.
